It'll be chock full of images—who doesn't like looking at pretty pictures?—and hopefully, some useful ideas to help you promote your next book, or even your current one.
I'll be using the graphics for my upcoming novel, Bloodpledge (Yeah, I know, it's a shameless plug, but it's my blog!)
So, how do I promote my book to make it stand out from the rest?
It's all in the graphics—using clever images adapted to suit the marketing of your book. Either do it yourself, or find a good graphics artist. I'm blessed to know someone who can do magic with a basic book cover.
As authors we all dream of seeing our books out there, but imagine if the front cover of your book was featured on the side of a building or skyscraper, at a bus stop where thousands of people congregate each day, or even a prominent position outside a mega mall?
Okay, unless your surname is either Rowling or King, we know that's not going to happen, but sometimes, we can cheat!
Example 1- The Billboard
Example 2 - The Skyscaper Ad
Example 3 - At the Bus Stop
Example 4 - The Shopping Centre Promo (This one's my personal favourite)
Example 5 - Banner I use this one on all my promotional pages, such as Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Pinterest and Tumblr.
How do I use these images? Share them everywhere. Let the reading public know you've got a fabulous book and promote it like a celebrity. We may never become another Rowling, King, or Tolkien, but just perhaps...

Go Tima! :) The blog post looks great! Nice to see my creativity and book imposing ideas infecting the minds of others lol Can't wait to read this book. I'm going to burst soon if I don't get to read it! xx Tay.
Lol! Your ideas are tops, Tay! Love 'em. Hold on a little while longer as the book's coming out at the end of June. It's off to my editor next week. Yay!
One should never give up hoping, Tima. I will keep an eye out for billboards and skyscrapers flaunting your name. It would be very exciting, wouldn't it?
Let's hold the dream, Diane. Who knows?
