Aussie Vampire Book Trailer

Well, here it is, the trailer to my up-coming book, 'Bloodgifted.' It's an Aussie vampire story, set in one of the most beautiful harbour cities in the world - Sydney.
It's now on Youtube, with the revised release date.
Since I did the trailer myself, I'd really appreciate some feedback. Does it work? Or, should I try another approach?

I like it! :D Great music, great pictures. Maybe could have been a little longer? I don't know if there's a standard length for book trailers. Anywho, awesome job!

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for the feedback and for liking my trailer. It's one of three I eventually want to put out. The next one will be longer - 1.15min. I only hope it generates enough interest that people will want to buy the book.

Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks so much for liking it. If it gave you chills then that's good - in a positive way!

You've done a great job, Tima. I know how much work it is, making a book trailer, and I feel that you managed to collect together all the important points about the book. I also like the way you have linked it to Christmas. From a psychological point of view (presents and the like), I feel that this works particularly well.

Thanks, Diane, I appreciate your comment. It takes many hours to create a trailer, and I have to admit youtube still scares me. There are about a million book trailers out there and how you stand out from the rest? Tricky!

Hi Tima, I especially like the music you have chosen, it creates suspense and intrigue. Perhaps the text speed could be a little slower, just to make it slightly more dramatic? Otherwise I think it's a great trailer! :)

Hi Fionna,
Thanks for the feedback. Since this is the first time I've ever done one of these trailers - and it's quite daunting actually! - I appreciate any suggestions on improving it. I'll play around with some other text speeds and see how they go. Isn't the music great? It's called Blood X 2, but unfortunately I can't remember the name of the composer. I'll look it up and let you know, if you'd like.
